Blog readers, meet Lester!

As if they knew my exact personal preferences, Gibson has recently come out with a Les Paul that has everything I wanted in a guitar and none of what I didn't. The new Les Paul Standard Traditional Pro has a slim 60's style neck, coil split Burstbucker and '57 Classic humbuckers, a solid (non-chambered) body and locking tuners. I have been researching LP's for the better part of the last year, finding most of the above characteristics over different models but never all in one package. Without the AAA flamed maple top (I don't care), it is priced right too.

I consider this my little reward for a job well done in repairing the damage that was done to my portfolios in Q4, 2008.
