If you can tell me what this screwy indicator is going to do, I can tell you what the markets are going to do. If GSR - a liquidity indicator - is going to rise here and test resistance, then markets are going to correct per NFTRH's current plan. This could be a more intermediate term bullish scenario. If however, GSR declines to test support, one wonders if a final pop in the markets is as good as it is going to get for the endorphin releasing bulls.
Side note: I am in the weird position of always seeming to get flack during the weeks or even months it sometimes takes these turns to manifest. All in and around the October Bull Pivot it was hard to write bullish things in the face of the 'what are you, NUTS?' incoming. Now, the (trend is your friend) bulls needle and zing, and the world turns.

Everyones in such a rush these days...sometimes it pays to sit and wait, and wait, and wait...then pounce when everyones looking in the same direction..and do the opposite of the sheep.
I dont have the skill to pinpoint these moments, so your analysis is very useful indeed.

ReplyDeleteCheck out the ratio of the dollar index to long term bonds; something similar to UUP:TLT. I am not totally sure what the ratio "means" per se, but something tells me it is worth thowing into your bag of tricks. ;-)

ReplyDeleteThey are crying because the senior gold stocks have been disasters while everything else has been on pure fire. I have been guilty of that too. I am sure you will match up the IP addresses and know who I am. I think Jim Dines was right about one thing in terms of this sector. There needs to be a mass pyschology shift from chasing the bullion to chasing the gold shares. Eventually it will come.
