When you manage risk and try to see things as they are instead of how you want them to be, you keep things on the right track even when short term trends get contrary to your preferred stance.

The Speculation portfolio is +6.5% for 2012, is now diversified into broad areas (no no silly, not the big US market, that ship has sailed and NDX never came near my personal support/buy zone) of relative value and carries a lot of cash for coming opportunities.

Ben Bernanke has got the yield curve bending to his will, which is to give the appearance of policy that is at once accommodative and prudent; Goldilocks in other words.  If you believe in honest money systems, this is war and in this war you do not want to be on the front lines (face it, in the financial racket at least, it pays to be cowardly at the appropriate times so that you can be brave at the appropriate times).

As the title of the sample page states, NFTRH remains bullish the precious metals.  There is a compelling case brewing.  I think we are starting to get a good read on timing and important downside targets as well.
