He comments here under the moniker I Will Never Accept the Terms of Service and he is consistently one of my most challenging and interesting emailers (and NFTRH subscribers, I write proudly). I have his blog, My Own Market Narrative linked on the side panel and have been meaning to point you to this excellent financial blog written by one of the best critical thinkers I know of.
Today, come to find out the guy looks at music the same way I do. Anyone who could see through Sonic Youth as being little more than Wire knock-off is looking into things quite deeply my friends. I am actually giddy about this, because if there are relatively few people into Sonic Youth, there are even fewer who even know what Wire was (and now again, is).
Side fun fact: The spooky music in the "It puts the lotion in the basket..." scene in Silence of the Lambs was called 'Alone' by Wire's Colin Newman.
Okay, I am done for the day. Keep yer heads screwed on straight and go visit IWNATTOS's blog. You'll be glad you did.
Edit (12:14) I no sooner point you there and he goes all potty mouth on the most recent post. Try to look beyond it, or ignore my reco if you are sensitive. But it still says here some of the best minds are well... difficult, prickly ones. ;-)
