It is a minor caveat to the near term bull case in precious metals that silver sentiment never green lined. Here's the latest Sentimentrader.com graph (May 1) of the public's opinion on the matter.
Also, a subscriber advises that the two most popular articles on Resource Investor are ones talking about 'silver to the moon'. Yikes. As for the technicals, silver has been meandering below important moving averages for weeks now and thus, has been vulnerable for weeks.
NFTRH has set parameters (on HUI) that would bring back to the fore the prospect of a final precious metals sector washout and seeing the untouched green line above and hearing about raving bull calls on silver, I wonder if they will be activated.
The markets sure are fun because if things were cut and dry, anybody could do 'em and what fun would that be?
Edit (2:07) Ag is below moving averages by daily chart. Here is a weekly chart from NFTRH185 showing what silver must do and what it must not do in order to avoid a date with the yellow shaded zone. I'll save the words and let you put those big brains to work to form your conclusions.
